Forever Alone Vector (Original) by DuctToast Forever Alone Vector (Original) by DuctToast
If you've been active on the internet in places where memes abound, you've probably already seen this picture. No, I don't mean the forever alone guy. I mean this specific vector. The truth is that I made this vector a long time ago, and now it floats around the internet. I expect no credit, but it makes me giggle a little bit whenever I see it used somewhere.

Don't believe me? Here's the story.

Around 2010 when I discovered memes and rage comics, I was pretty obsessed. I saw Forever Alone appear when it began to become popular, and I was curious as to why there was no high-resolution version of the face (Just a small, overly pixelated picture) So I decided to make my own in PowerPoint, as well as some other rage faces.

I posted these vectors here [link] on KnowYourMeme under the username "Luke T*****" in hopes they would get noticed. Sure enough, I started seeing lots of my vectors popping up all over memebase and the like. But Forever Alone was by far the most popular. So much so, that 6dollarshirts.com began using my design, which irked me because they were making money off of my handiwork. I messaged them and offered to show proof that I am the original artist, and they asked me to send the original powerpoint file. And (Stupidly) I did. Never heard anything back. (Don't ever send people your original files)

I'm over it now, but again, it's cool to see my vector floating around every now and again. The way I'm always able to tell is by the color of the tears (It's not the same blue as the original), the outline bigger than his wrinkles, and the small dent in his arm.

So if you 'expect no credit' why are you going through so much trouble to get credit?

I'm a little confused on your logic
